The assessing media section deals with the appraisal of single media outlets. It is sub-structured around five main areas - Management, Techniques and Operations, Programming/Content, Cooperation/Networking, Audiences and Impact - to display methodologies for the evaluation of the performance of one of these fields.
The further sub-structuring shall facilitate access to methods for more detailed analyses, especially for self-assessment tools of media enterprises. Some items are further differentiated to take specification into account for Community Media and Public Service Media.
